ROOTS is taking shape in Belval — and the full scale of the project is now coming to life.

On 11 September, BPI Real Estate and Unibra Real Estate celebrated the topping-out ceremony of ROOTS, together with the teams and partners bringing the project to life.

The ceremony featured speeches by Thibault Relecom, Sébastien Labis and Arnaud Regout, alongside Mr. Claude Meisch, Minister for Housing and Spatial Planning, and Ms. Simone Asselborn-Bintz, Mayor of the Municipality of Sanem.

This symbolic milestone now offers a first real sense of ROOTS at full scale: its volumes are taking shape, while its hybrid timber structure is already revealing the identity of this future place to live at the heart of Central Square.

Spanning more than 20,000 m², ROOTS will bring together 102 apartments, offices, retail spaces and services, all arranged around a landscaped green courtyard. The project has been designed to combine quality of life, a mix of uses and strong environmental performance, including Low Carbon Building Initiative (LCBI) certification achieved as early as the design phase.

🏗️ As construction progresses rapidly, apartment sales are also well underway. From studios to three-bedroom duplexes, several units are still available, with particularly favourable purchasing conditions thanks in part to the #BoosterfirdeWunnengsbau measures. Completion of ROOTS is guaranteed for summer 2027.
